How to Take Charge of Your Writing Life

Spread the love

Welcome! I’m glad to see that you found me at my new “home.”

As promised, starting today I’m giving away a free e-book for frustrated writers.

Rx for Writers: Managing Your Writing Space and Your Writing Time is short, but it contains solid advice for three of a writer’s biggest problems:

1. following through on our goals
2. organization of our writing space
3. lack of good writing habits

While the e-book is only thirteen pages long, I can guarantee you more success in your writing life if you follow the advice.

After You Download the E-Book…

Please update this new URL address (http://kristiholl.net/writers-blog/) in any location you have the current blog address.

  • your RSS feed (wherever you read blogs…I read mine through my Gmail Reader)
  • your Favorites folder
  • your blog (if you have Writer’s First Aid listed in your links)
  • any other places you may have linked to my blog

Posting Schedule

I still plan to post on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Jan Fields will still give you the “What’s New at Kristi’s” in the Institute newsletter.

Getting Your E-Book

The form to get your e-book is on the right-hand side at the top of the page. After you sign up, it will send a confirmation email to your Inbox.

After you confirm, you’ll be taken to where you’ll get Rx for Writers: Managing Your Writing Space and Your Writing Time.

NOTE: I’m not starting a newsletter at this time, nor do I send out sales letters. I won’t abuse your email addresses. Very occasionally, when I post a new report in my Resource area, I will let you know that. And, of course, you’ll be free to unsubscribe at any time.

  1. Kristi, thank you! It’s a new month, and a perfect time to make some more positive changes to make the writing life better.

I’m so happy you are continuing to blog … it’s been a treasure trove of practical tips and inspiration. Write on!

    • I poked around a bit more and the blog/website took terrific. Very easy to navigate, find topics, etc.

Vijaya, it’s good to see you over here. I’m glad the ebook downloaded for you. You’re right–it’s a perfect time (whether it’s this time of life or this time of year) to make more positive changes. 😎

  3. Love the new blog, Kristi. I’ve already updated my bookmark for your site. Thank you for the e-book on writing space and time. I’m thinking a lot about those topics these days and I just know you will have some gems to share.

Rebecca, I’m glad you made it over! Thank you for updating your information already so we don’t lose touch in the vast world wide web. 🙂 These topics are the ones I’ve found to make the most difference to me in my life. That’s not true of all writers–but it’s sure true of many!

  4. Katlyn

Thank you so much for the e-book!! It is going to be so helpful, especially that part about the different organization personalities. I love the look of the new blog, too!

    • kwpadmin

Hi, Katlyn! Glad I was here when your message popped up. 🙂 Yes, once I figured out my own organizing personality and accepted the fact that it isn’t “once size fits all” when getting a grip on time and space, it was actually FUN figuring out what *I* liked!

  5. Love the change! Can’t wait to read the ebook, thanks so much! 🙂

    • kwpadmin

Glad you found me, Jennifer! And thanks. 🙂

  6. kwpadmin

Deanna, thanks so much! I hope the ideas turn out to be helpful. I try not to work on more than one new habit per month, but by the end of the year, lots of things change!

  7. Thanks loads, Kristi. Maybe this will help me finish more than one needed task.

    • kwpadmin

I hope it works for you the way it has worked for me! It seems to be in the (nearly) doing of the habits that makes me or breaks me in the end. 🙂

  8. Bonnie

I love the e-book, Kristi. I may have read every single tip or advice before, but having it put together and explained in one place makes all the difference. And the links are frosting on the cake. Thanks.

    • kwpadmin

Bonnie, thank you. I was thinking the same thing when I wrote it: that they are different aspects of being organized, but they truly all work together. If I/we could master those simple habits, we’d be home free for most projects!

  9. Linda Armstrong

Love the work you do for us.

  10. Jill

Hi, the e-book sounds terrific. But how do I download it? I see the title there in red, but not sure how I get it…no link . Thanks!

  11. kwpadmin

If you signed up, Jill, email me at kristi.holl@gmail.com, and I will send you the ebook so you don’t have to download it. The download instructions were below that link.
